My day lasted 15 minutes due to the very dirty heavy cigarette smell
- What did you like most? The location of the property is absolutely the best.
- Was there anything you didn't like? The rooms are extremely small and outdated and reek of heavy cigarette smoke. There was even ashes that were not cleaned from the patio and balcony where we stayed. I was in the room for less than 15 minutes due to the fact that I have severe asthma and I’m planning for a surgery for breast cancer. I cannot be sick at this time and this hotel was very subpar with the sanitation. I alerted Sean and Jay of the smell of heavy cigarette smoke and unfortunately due to the hotel being full there was no other room left for me so I was unable to stay. I was charged $250 for the first night and I’m very sad that I had to go to Hawaii seven hour flight and then find a new hotel last minute at a different resort. It sucks that I thought everything was paid for and handled prior to my getting there and then I had to deal with a dirty room that reeked of cigarette smoke and the inability to accommodate a room that is clean without cigarettes. This is not the hotel for somebody to stay if they have any respiratory issues. It is very rundown and the facility is just very subpar the staff Shawn and Jay are absolutely phenomenal. I just feel bad that they have to work in such a subpar hotel.
